WHAT IS GRAND TRAIL COSTA DA MORTE?
It is a long distance trail running test in self-sufficiency regime that runs along A Costa da Morte. It has two modalities: 100 kms in 3 stages or 265 kms in 7 stages.

CAN RELATIVES AND/OR FRIENDS ACCOMPANY ME?
Of course! We will be delighted if you come with your family and friends to experience this event. We will have activities available for them.
To register family and friends you can do so through the following link or within the menu ACCOMPANYING.
WHEN IS THE DELIVERY OF NUMBERS?
It will be held the evening of September 13, 2019 at a place and time to be confirmed.
We will take the opportunity to make the presentation of the event and inform the most important data of the day to day.
CAN I PARTICIPATE IF I DON’T HAVE THE OBLIGATORY MATERIAL?
No. The obligatory material is designed to prevent any situation that the participant may suffer throughout the competition.
Under no circumstances will the participation of any runner be allowed without all the obligatory material required in the REGULATIONS.
I DON’T WANT TO RUN ALL THE STAGES, CAN I PARTICIPATE IN THE STAGES THAT I WANT?
Not at first. This measure can be modified according to the evolution of the registrations.
WILL THERE BE MONETARY PRIZES?
ARE DINNERS OBLIGATORY?
They are not obligatory but recommendable. From the Organization we pretend that in the event the camaraderie prevails and participants and friends or relatives share moments and experiences.
The dinners will serve to comment on the stage of the day, see images of the day, know the adventures of participants from other latitudes, let the Organization know your concerns and complaints, make the briefing of the next day’s stage, live together, ….
IS IT OBLIGATORY TO SEND THE MEDICAL CERTIFICATE?
The medical certificate will only be obligatory for the participants of the GTCM 7 STAGES.
The participants of the GTCM 3 STAGES do not have the obligation to send a medical certificate.
However, if you participate in GTCM 3 STAGES or GTCM 7 STAGES, the Organization recommends that all participants take a medical certificate before this test to assess their state of health.
WILL THERE BE TRANSFER OF SUITCASES BETWEEN THE STAGES?
Yes, each stage, before leaving, you will deposit your suitcases in a place at the exit so that they can be taken by the volunteers to the end of the stage locality.
When you reach the finish line you will have your suitcases.
IS IT POSSIBLE TO RENT A CAR FOR MY DISPLACEMENTS?
The Organization will facilitate contact with car rental companies according to the needs of each participant.
The Organization will not make any management of car rental between participant and rental company.
WILL THERE BE MEDICAL SERVICE ON THE TOUR?
The event will have a medical service and ambulances to deal with possible incidents arising in the event.
CAN I VOLUNTEER FOR THE EVENT?
Of course I can! Go to the corresponding section of the VOLUNTEERS menu and tell us how you can help us to improve the event.
SCORE FOR THE ULTRA TRAIL OF MONTBLANC (UTMB)?
Yes, the GTCM 3 STAGES has been rated with 3 points and the GTCM 7 STAGES with 4 points by the ITRA and the Grand Trail Costa da Morte has been accepted by the UTMB Organization as a qualifying race 2019.
